Is your street sometimes... slippery? Want to keep track of and alert your neighbors when there's a fall risk? Are we talking about... ICE? Icy roads are so dangerous. Anyway, we made a tool for that. Thanks Gerry. Fork this to run a local copy in case this is deleted. (Not helpful in areas where Stingrays operate but very helpful near your home in case of Icy Weather which I hear may be year round for the next bit.)

https://freakscene.us/ is still popping off, it's a very cool alternative music scene listing that doesn't help any venture capitalists at all. Let's break the culture out of society. This is not the place to organize direct actions- we're also working on that one.

If you want to organize directly, this anonymous event listing is up and I would like some comments and feature requests. It was made by replit agent, but we'll deploy it to some raspberry Pis soon, then make it available to meshtastic nodes that query it. Censor that.

Please contribute to the resistance repo. We are making some agitprop bots, please contribute propaganda. We need both relatable memes (hooks) and propaganda memes. This will also serve as a decent collection of the kinds of meme propaganda we've been exposed to.

Multiverse Programs

Some stuff got messed up with classes being scheduled during a break week again. I'm working on a curriculum & community platform migration, which will probably be a Q2 initiative. Got any thoughts on what platform you like for elearning? Please drop them in the matrix server. If you wanna help migrate, please let me know. I have written 4 learning management platforms for multi-million dollar brands, so that's probably why I thought I'd do it again while also running a school. Every single person I have ever advised has ignored me when I say not to build your own LMS, so why would I be any different than they are, or any more able to follow my own advice? Haha. Silly.

Solarpunk Standup is on - this is first assembly. Bring your problems, needs, and we'll get the community problem-solving. This is included in any membership tier and for anyone currently in a class or anyone I've said can just come.

Job Search / Brandup Standup will be from 9am - 10am Pacific. This is where you'll work on either search for jobs (literally apply to jobs, put in proposals, pitch contracts, do outbound emails), or your personal brand (literally the stuff like your website, social media post, mass communications, etc).

Python Development will continue, and will be at 8am Pacific on Thursday, run by Anadon. This is also a Community Class.

This might be the last week of Math for a bit, as it seems like we made people completely emboldened all of you to feel that you can just figure out any math you might be interested in. We'll bring it back later, but for now, our current population seems far less afraid of math! A Great Success! Never let that one math teacher that made you hate math keep you down.

Don't forget to join us on Matrix, where we'll stay tight-knit and coordinated, run mutual aid groups, and keep everyone safe. This is going to be a rough few years. Let's keep each other safe and sane.
