Partial scholarships — up to 50% off — are immediate. We don't need to process an application for that. Just use the "change amount" button on Stripe checkout and we'll get you enrolled now. No waiting, no committee, no story required.

Funded scholarships — more than 50% off — are a different thing. These applications are processed every two weeks, and you'll typically be enrolled in the next available class. You may use this form whether you need a full scholarship, or maybe you can only afford $5 or $10 for classes — anything between 50–100% off goes here. Any partial amount paid helps run the school, but full scholarships are available for those that need them. We ask the questions below to make sure that we can understand who you are and what you need. We would like to help those that need it access classes that they otherwise couldn't afford.

It's very hard to learn from a place of fear, and we don't want you there. Before we talk about classes, we want to make sure your basic needs are met. If they're not, we have resources that may help.

These are funded scholarships. If you can contribute something — even a small amount, even spread over time — it helps us offer more scholarships to others. But if you truly cannot pay, that's okay too. We usually say yes.
