Your class work has a shorter list. The dashboard shows a short Now list of at most five things instead of everything you could possibly do. /exercises sorts work into Now, Set aside, Done and Practice, and /my/work lets you pick work up or set it aside. (#1804, #1805, #1825)
Your campus pet comes to /my/work. Talk with your own campus pet there, and feed it. Food adds fuel, and the page shows how many messages your pet can send. (#1834, #1877, #1878)
Show Day./show-day is where you sign up your release for show day. It shows the running order with times in your timezone, and feedback goes to the presenter. (#1844)
New tools for Practical Propaganda. The Propaganda Lens and the Propaganda Map, including a station on how the feed picks what you see. (#1846, #1855, #1867, #1868)
More from the school on the homepage. Learn to Code, the Bazaar, Post a Job, Research, the AI Problems Index, Community Workshops and the Resource Library all have cards on the homepage again. (#1884)
New maps of agentic AI security. Fit to Deploy, the Meta-Map, Research Frameworks and The Swarm are zoomable maps, and the Incident Observatory gained October's cases. (#1730, #1731, #1745)
On campus
Plants rest instead of dying. A plant nobody waters gets thirsty, then rests until someone waters it, and picks up where it left off. Plants that died before this wake up when you care for them.
Job flowers. Logging a job application earns a seed that grows a job flower in the garden plots. It's there for everyone to see, and it can't be picked or sold.
Freakscene venues. Three punk show halls on the map: the Rialto, Pier 13 and the Tank Farm. Each has a flyer wall of real upcoming shows for its region.
Archive TV. A wood-grain TV for the store, $10. Put it anywhere and watch seven channels of old videos from the Internet Archive with whoever else is in the room.
Precursors in the Multiverse Games lobby. A big lit stand tells you what Precursors is and links to its purchase page.
Improved
Atlases work on a phone. All seven maps restack into one column on a phone, and cited sources are links you can tap. Every map also has a phone edition at its address plus -mobile. (#1881, #1761)
Shorter path pages. A path page is now one screen of pitch plus the path's skills. The long page is still linked from it. (#1755, #1756)
Take a single class. On the Weird Internet Wizard, Founder and AI Executive path pages, "take a single class" is now a link. (#1588)
Choosing your path on a scholarship. Approved scholarship students pick the path their scholarship is for at /scholarship/choose-path. (#1876, #1879)
Scholarships are one month at a time. You re-apply each month to keep yours. The form and scholarship emails now say so. (#1874)
Unsubscribe from all optional emails. There's now one link that does it. (#1774)
Weekly emails send you to campus. The cohort chat link in the weekly schedule email opens the room's chat on campus. (#1843)
Class pages and prerequisites. A class with prerequisites no longer also says no prior experience is needed. (#1814)
Fixed
Refunds before class are 60%. The handbook said 60% while the button paid 90%. The button, /terms, My Purchases and the refund page now all say and pay 60%, and the terms are now version 4. (#1765)
Class times on the Pacific clock. Weekly schedule emails showed class times 7 to 8 hours early, and other pages and jobs compared times on the wrong clock. (#1722, #1810, #1811)
Post-class emails. The scheduler was dropping simultaneous jobs, so post-class emails weren't going out. (#1742, #1746)
Buying just before class. A purchase in the hours before a class could put you in the next run of it instead. (#1760)
Bundle seats. Buying a bundle gave you a seat in one of its classes. It now seats you in every class in the bundle. (#1759)
Win-back emails respect your opt-out. Follow-ups after cancelling now skip anyone who opted out or asked for their data to be erased, and carry an unsubscribe link. (#1864, #1880)
Login limits. Limits on login, magic link and password reset attempts were written but not being enforced. They are now. (#1787)
A safer site. Baseline security headers are on every page. (#1691)
