Solar Bench — A new tool at /tools/solar-bench for the Solarpunk Automation class. It walks you through sizing a solar setup in nine stations: what you need to power, how much usable sun you get (winter, shade, heat, and air pollution, using real data for 21 cities), panels, battery, charge controller and inverter, wire gauge, and a cost comparison of a ready-made power station against building your own. Prices are October 2026 store prices, and the sources are listed on the page. (#1516, #1517, #1518)
Home Network Defense companion — The live class companion for Home Network Defense is at /x/home-network-companion. (#1503)
Improved
Program pages show what each session covers — The Founding Federation curriculum used to label every session only "Day N · Weekday, Week N". Each card now shows the session title, and the Go To Market progress bar is back. (#1501)
One-day intensive pricing cards list what is included — Intensive class pages now show what each price tier includes, such as free re-attendance at future sessions. (#1495)
The campus link takes you to your class — When you join a class through its classroom link and choose Campus, it now opens Campus inside your class's building instead of at the front door. (#1504, #1516)
Scholarship application is easier to finish — The path selector is always visible and prefills from the path page you came from, a specific class is optional when you pick a path, the demographics question is optional and explains why it's asked, and the retired Resilience path and a stale June error notice are gone. (#1490)
Path pages: honest numbers and clearer links — The AI Citizen budget allocator no longer over-allocates, "Data Activism on its own" links to the class, recordings tiers list which classes have recordings, and add-on package counts come from the real class lists. (#1416)
Founder and AI Creative paths updated — The Founder week calendar drops Job Search and shows GTM and Make & Do at 9–10:30am, the AI Creative sequence says "Founding Federation: GTM", and the Founding Federation page hides the cohort-rotation cards and Bazaar section. (#1464)
Clearer Pricing Bench and Pipeline Bench wording — Pricing Bench capacity is now "hours per month", and Pipeline Bench's archetype F description is in plain language. (#1464, #1455)
Dashboard shows Today first — Today's schedule now comes before bench-instrument readings. (#1398)
Class editor: session times are labelled Pacific — Start and end inputs say "(Pacific time)", and a session ending at or before its start is rejected with an error naming it. (Admin/staff-facing) (#1499)
Fixed
Bench links returned an error when you were logged out — Opening a bench tool while logged out showed a server error. It now sends you to log in and then back to the tool. (#1502)
Students were enrolled into cohorts that had already run — Paid students could land in a finished cohort (e.g. an Aug 1 cohort after paying on 9/19) when a later one existed; about 47 enrollments since Aug 1 were affected. Batch enrollment, scholarship grants and admin enroll pickers now choose the upcoming cohort. (#1508)
Agentic D&D drafts restore every character — Reloading a saved draft brought back only the first character slot; all slots now return with their text. (#1512)
Saving a class with an embed-code intro video — The intro video field accepts embed code, and a validation error in a hidden editor tab now switches to that tab instead of silently cancelling the save. (Admin/staff-facing) (#1489)
Account deletions now fully erase Matrix accounts and no longer stall — Deleted users kept getting emails from Matrix, and a crash on a nonexistent table had blocked all deletions since about Sept 15. (#1398)
Security: login token no longer exposed in page HTML — The dashboard and terminal pages no longer embed the user's authentication token in client-side data. (#1490)
Class pages' price-anchor highlight below 900px — An unclosed CSS block made the highlight apply only on wide screens; it now works at all widths. (#1341)
Scholarship "sponsor one" link only appears when configured — Class heroes no longer show a sponsor link that led to "Apply for a scholarship". (#1335)
Pathway switching hardened — Switching on /choose-your-path could have failed once onboarding classes were configured; it now withdraws seats safely and never touches paid seats. (#1424)
Admin coupon creation requires a discount — /admin/create_coupon no longer mints a 100%-off code when percent_off is omitted, and rejects invalid values with an error. (Admin/staff-facing) (#1420)
