Learning paths replace tracks — The school is now organized around learning paths instead of tracks. Each path is a complete journey: AI Builder, Founder, Executive, Creative, Weird Internet Wizard, Citizen, and Digitally Independent. Not sure where to start? Answer a few questions and we will point you to the right one.
Personalized dashboards — Every path now has its own dashboard with real-world measures instead of LMS vanity metrics. No lesson completion percentages or video watch time. Instead: your inference cost per user, your pricing floor, your threat tier, your social capacity — real numbers from the tools you use in class, tracked over time.
Archetype discovery — Your dashboard learns what kind of learner you are by asking real questions — "How much do you spend on software?" not "Pick your archetype." Each answer unlocks the measures and tools that matter to you. Builder students might be exploring, hardening, shipping, or operating. Founders might be vibe-coding, selling, or protecting. The dashboard adapts.
Defender and Independence add-on packages — Security and digital independence are things you add to whatever path you are already on, not separate paths you switch to. The Defender package ($400 suggested) gets you 4 live security classes and the tools. The Independence package ($750 suggested) includes everything in Defender plus 3 more classes on hosting, open source, and building your own infrastructure. Already have Defender? Pay the difference ($350) to upgrade.
Pace calculator on every path — Each path page now has a calculator: enter how many hours a week you can commit, see how many months it will take and what it will cost. No weekly billing — just months.
Your data profile — A new page at /tools/profile shows you everything the learning tools know about you: your pricing floor, fill rate, social capacity, security posture, project progress, and every other measure the benches have recorded. It is all stored in your browser — we do not have it unless you choose to share it. Each field shows which bench wrote it and when. You can export your profile as JSON to back it up or move it to another device.
Voluntary sharing — You can now choose to share specific profile fields with the school, one by one. Your instructor can use this to spot patterns like pricing below your survival number. You pick the fields, you see exactly what gets sent, and you can revoke at any time — revocation deletes the data, not archives it.
Device sync (beta) — Pair your phone and computer by scanning a QR code. Your profile data is encrypted in your browser before it leaves — the relay server that connects your devices cannot read it. Works across any two devices on any network.
Updated privacy policy — The privacy page now has a plain-language section on what the learning tools track, who it is attached to, and what happens when you share, revoke, or sync. No legalese.
Video on every lesson page — Class recordings now appear at the top of lesson pages, starting at the chapter that covers that lesson. Prev/next buttons navigate between chapters. 217 lessons across 11 classes now have video with timestamped chapter markers. The video sticks to the top of the page while you scroll through the written content below it.
Lesson pages redesigned — Each lesson is now a complete learning page: video at the top, written content in the middle, exercises in the sidebar. The layout fills wide monitors and stacks on mobile. Interactive tools are linked at the point where you would use them.
Client-side HedgeDoc rendering — Lesson content authored in HedgeDoc now renders directly in your browser without an iframe. Pages load faster, scroll naturally, and respect your chosen theme.

Every lesson rewritten — Curriculum pages across Using Large Language Models, Context Engineering, Custom GPTs, Business Automation, Intro to Agents, and Agentic Engineering have been rewritten from class recording transcripts. The old auto-generated listicle format is gone. Content now matches what is actually taught in class, with practical instructions and real examples.
Interactive tools linked throughout lessons — Benches like the System Prompt Workshop, Hallucination Detector, Expert Persona builder, and Context Workbench are now linked at the point in the lesson where you would actually use them.
Skills tagged on every lesson — Each lesson page now shows which skills from the skill map it covers, so you can see what you are building toward.
Setup instructions updated — ChatGPT and Claude setup steps now link to current help articles with the actual UI paths (not screenshots from three updates ago).
Path pages explain what you will actually do — Every path page now describes the classes, the tools, what you will build, and what changes in your life when you finish. No vague marketing copy.
Inference cost calculator — The AI Builder path page has a calculator that estimates your monthly inference cost based on what you are building. Pick "a chatbot" or "a data pipeline" and see a real number instead of a scary default.

Curriculum cross-wiring — Sixteen lessons were linked to slide decks, drip email sequences, syllabi, and notes from entirely different classes. Every lesson across all 28 curricula has been verified against the vault and corrected.
Business Automation lesson order — Workshop 5 was showing as lesson 1. Lessons now follow the workshop progression (Setup → Personas → Make.com → Email Triage → Agent Dispatch → Capstone).
RPG exercises removed from Agent Error Handling — Implement Stable Quests, Character Details, and LLM-mediated combat were exercises from a game-building class that leaked into the Context Engineering error handling lesson.
Links visually distinct from bold text — Links now use a separate color from headings and bold text across all 10 path themes, so you can tell what is clickable.
Pathway switch preserves paid enrollments — Switching your path used to withdraw you from classes you had already paid for. Now only onboarding-stage classes (the ones auto-enrolled when you pick a path) are withdrawn. Paid classes stay.
Recordings-only pass no longer auto-enrolls in live classes — The $250/month Autodidact pass gives you recordings and curriculum. It was incorrectly granting live class seats, which are part of the $500/month Member plan.
